American brand Levis is celebrating 148 years of the iconic 501® Jeans that represent originality, creativity, authenticity, and self-expression.
The 501® jeans are the iconic jeans that everyone has adopted into their closets – factory workers, movie stars, computer programmers, and presidents. This month the American brand is celebrating the 148th birthday of the original blue jeans, the one that started it all. To commemorate the special occasion, the brand highlights the styles and stories of seven young influencers and their preferred ways to wear Levi’s® 501 – Hailey Bieber, Jayden Smith, Marcus Rashford, Naomi Osaka, Emma Chamberlain, Shai Gilgeous- Alexander and Barbie Ferreira.
The 501® is a perfect canvas for creative expression and has been a necessary item in the closet since the middle of the twentieth century. From Marlon Brando in the movie “The Wild” in 1953, through the punk of the seventies to the present day – the classic simplicity of 501® is suitable for every clothing style, for every individual, and the heart and soul of modern fashion. Levis’s story is not only about a timeless style, but also about sustainability. Things were once created to last so that this design is extremely durable and improves over the years.
Levi’s 501® and other designs, are sold in all the brand’s flagship stores and on the Factory 54 website:
