Visual Artist and writer, Shahar began painting as a child to express himself in the secluded town he grew up in. From there, he sprouted with writing and art. After graduating with a BA in fine arts and psychology and a MA in fine arts, Shahar began writing for newspapers and lifestyle magazines. Writing is Shahar’s other love next to painting. To him, it’s all a form of art.
As Shahar’s career grew, he found writing for the papers limiting. So much compromise with the creative mind can pose as a challenge, a mere writing exercise. Most recently, he has been writing more freely, with personality and zest. Breaking free from the formatted platform, Shahar began embracing his artsy talent and shares his work through writing, painting, and designing for covers such as books and albums.
Sharon has always been drawn to Shahar’s work. Mutually, Shahar is drawn to Sharon’s vision. They always talked about working together. The two spoke back and forth, collaborating with ideas. Now, as Con Art’s Writer at Large in TLV to write passionately about art and excitement. He is honored to be part of such a striving, color hungry team, “Her heart is special and a rare commodity.”
To Shahar, Con Art means having a less fixed view of what things are and the potential see see what things could turn out to be. Humans are all dwindlers just trying to charm and dazzle, and bring attention to others in flamboyant ways. Being a Con Artist plays this role but through extraordinary messages of self expression and communication, as there really is no need to limit oneself.
