LANVIN lands for the first time at AMOR

The men’s line of the prestigious fashion house LANVIN lands for the first time at AMOR, the State Square, Tel Aviv, Israel.

The story of Lanvin began in 1889, in a small hat shop in the heart of Paris that Jeanne Lanvin opened when she was 22 years old. Already at a young age, her outstanding talent could be recognized – when four years later she founded the fashion house that bears her name. In doing so, she founded the third oldest French fashion brand that is still alive and kicking today.

After immediate success, Lanven launched a menswear line that offered custom-made suits, ties, pajamas, casual wear, and sportswear. When she was 79 years old, Jean Lennon passed away and passed the baton to her daughter Marie Blanche, who became the company’s president.

From 2002 to 2015, the Israeli fashion designer Alber Elbaz led the fashion house, bringing it to new heights that left a mark on the global industry.

Since 2019, the 32-year-old rising star Bruno Sialelli has held the position of creative director of the French fashion house and is considered to have succeeded in reviving the brand with a fresh, polished, and elegant language, while preserving the design heritage. Bruno picked up the coveted job at the age of only 28, after holding a series of design positions at the fashion houses of Balenciaga, Paco Rabanne, and more.

The unique sneaker line he created for Lanvin, THE CURB SNEAKERS, is considered one of the most sought-after in the genre while paying homage to the skate culture of the nineties at the highest level. The design of the CURB model, which includes details and laces in a unique weave inspired by the Japanese kimono, requires 8 hours of work due to the structure of the shoes and the complex combination of materials required to produce them.

Besides the urban chic style, the sneakers are considered particularly comfortable and have gained a group of passionate fans worldwide, including Ben Affleck, David Beckham, Travis Scott, and NBA player PJ Tucker.

In the new collection, you can find the latest version of the CURB in white, beige, and gray tones, combined with the iconic kimono laces, next to classic white tennis sneakers.

In the clothing category, the brand’s fine t-shirts stand out, which come this season in bright colors of white, nude, and dark stone.

Price range: NIS 1,680-11,190
