Yaki not only fantasizes about, but fully immerses himself in fashion and footwear. After finishing his studies as a textile designer in 2009, Yaki worked with the biggest brands in Israel for kid’s, women's & men's lines as a fashion designer and buyer. But it doesn’t stop there. His personal streetwear and sneaker wardrobe consists of over 200 hundred sneakers and lots of rare items from the biggest skate & street brands such as Supreme, Palace & others. This hobby placed Yaki in the next leg of his journey, as he was able to bring big brand fashion to Israel. In 2015, he created his own, private line of local street wear, called Kalabush, combining work and fun together. The line ran for two seasons with collaborations with a variety of artists, musicians and other icons.
Today, Yaki manages the design studio of S.Wear- a local brand of men’s activewear. Additionally, Yaki remain in charge of importing brands such as Hanes and Champion, to name a few. As for Con Art, Sharon introduced Yaki to the platform in LA several years ago. He loved the concept that the founder of the magazine had created. He fell in love with Sharon’s style and was very intrigued by her vision of the world. Her aura taught Yaki how to be more open minded and learn how to think outside the box, through the way she mixes between fashion, art, music & more. After helping expand Con Art over the years, Yaki feels a strong connection to the magazine, finding it unique, especially for Israel, promoting a future of local art, fashion, and music. His motto stands true with Con Art’s vision: "COME OUT TO STAY IN". Sometimes we need to come out of ourselves to stay in, to help drown out the basic routine of life.
