As part of the renewal of its Dragonfly Collection, Padani introduces a deeply personal new creation by designer and goldsmith Eilon Ben Haim: a sculptural dragonfly earring that gently embraces the earlobe, transforming a delicate natural symbol into a piece charged with meaning, remembrance and forward motion.
More than an aesthetic gesture, the design carries an intimate emotional story. The piece was created in memory of Maya Puder, a close friend of the designer who was murdered at the Nova music festival. Seeking a way to preserve her presence and spirit, Ben Haim translated recordings of Maya’s laughter into sound frequencies that generated patterns in water. Among the shapes that emerged from these vibrations was the dragonfly, which became the foundation and inspiration for the design.
Long associated with transformation, lightness and renewal, the dragonfly here becomes more than a motif. It becomes a language.

The earring now joins Padani’s Dragonfly Collection as a symbolic object that bridges personal memory and contemporary jewelry design. Its form wraps softly around the ear, echoing movement and air, while its conceptual origin connects sound, emotion and material into a single expressive gesture.
Through this collaboration, the piece carries forward a story of friendship and remembrance while offering something rare in fine jewelry: a design that does not only decorate the body but also preserves a voice and allows it to continue moving forward.
