From a tribute to Israeli fashion pioneer Fini Leitersdorf to a runway collaboration exploring women in sport, this year’s edition brings together 28 shows, established names and emerging talent under the theme “Trailblazing Women.”
Fashion weeks are built around the promise of what comes next. This November, Tel Aviv Fashion Week will also look back at the women who helped make that future possible.
Taking place from November 8–12, 2026, the 16th edition of Israel Canada Tel Aviv Fashion Week will unfold under the theme “Trailblazing Women,” placing female achievement, creative independence and cultural influence at the centre of its programme.
Founded by producer and entrepreneur Motty Reif, the event has long sought to position fashion as more than an exercise in aesthetics. This year’s programme continues that approach, bringing together established designers, emerging talent and cultural initiatives that examine how fashion intersects with identity, representation and social change.
The opening gala, scheduled for Sunday, November 8, will introduce an unexpected dialogue between fashion and architecture. Fourteen leading Israeli designers will present original creations inspired by prominent Israeli architects and their landmark buildings, translating architectural ideas into garments and exploring the relationship between structure, form and the human body.
One of the programme’s most significant moments will be a tribute to Fini Leitersdorf (1906–1986), a pioneering figure in Israeli fashion whose work helped define the country’s early design identity. Best known for her influential role at Maskit, Leitersdorf brought together modern silhouettes, local materials and traditional craftsmanship, establishing a visual language that continues to resonate with Israeli designers.
Marking the 120th anniversary of her birth, the tribute runway presentation will also see a fashion-design scholarship established in her name awarded to a student from Shenkar’s Fashion Design Department.
Another notable addition comes from the Department of Jewelry and Fashion at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, which will participate in Fashion Week for the first time. Its collaboration with the Hapoel sports organisation, celebrating its centenary, will spotlight women’s sport and the athletes whose achievements have challenged expectations and inspired younger generations.
The project considers the relationship between fashion, athletic performance and female empowerment, addressing the importance of visibility and equal opportunity in sport.
The designer lineup reflects the breadth of contemporary Israeli fashion, bringing together established fashion houses, independent labels and a younger generation developing their own design identities.
Among those scheduled to present are Alon Livne, Shai Shalom, Shahar Avnet, Aharon Genish, Idan Laros, Ariel Toledano, Dylan Parienty, Rimma Romano, Hili Ari, Golan Elbaz Friedman, Ofir Ivgi, Gal Nell Dahan and Tai Biton.
They will be joined by Mother of All, founded by Golan Taub and Noa Pasternak; Holyland Civilians, marking its tenth anniversary; KOBO by Jakob Atad; DARE; TODA; and off/na, whose alternative runway presentation will bring together approximately 30 to 40 young designers.

The Upcoming Designers platform will introduce four emerging names: Ravid Haken of HKN, Tal Yosifov of HALT, Lilach Eliyahu of TABU and Inbal Heffer. Presented in collaboration with ASUS, the showcase offers a glimpse of the different creative directions being explored by a new generation of Israeli designers.
Beyond the runway, fashion historian and curator Ya’ara Keydar will lead a special lecture devoted to the late actress and filmmaker Ronit Elkabetz, whose distinctive personal style and artistic vision made her one of Israeli culture’s most compelling figures. Drawing on Elkabetz’s life and legacy, the lecture will explore the relationship between clothing, identity and the enduring power of a carefully constructed image.
For Reif, the social dimension remains central to the event’s identity. As he explains, designers bring more than clothes to the runway: their work also carries their perspectives, values and the messages they wish to communicate.
For the second consecutive year, Fashion Week will take place at Kremenetski 7 in Tel Aviv, hosted by real-estate group Israel Canada. The partnership, led by the company’s co-owner and CEO Barak Rosen, places the event within a developing urban complex envisioned to combine technology, residential spaces and commerce.
With 28 runway shows and a programme spanning fashion, architecture, sport and cultural history, Tel Aviv Fashion Week 2026 will offer a portrait of an industry looking both inward and ahead.
Its central question is not simply who will define the next chapter of Israeli fashion, but whose work, creativity and determination made that chapter possible in the first place.
