Ravid Haken of HKN, Tal Yosifov of HALT, Lilach Eliyahu of TABU and Inbal Heffer have been selected for this year’s Upcoming Designers showcase.
Israel Canada Tel Aviv Fashion Week has revealed the four emerging designers selected for its 2026 Upcoming Designers runway: Ravid Haken of HKN, Tal Yosifov of HALT, Lilach Eliyahu of TABU and Inbal Heffer.
Presented in collaboration with technology company ASUS, the showcase will take place during Israel Canada Tel Aviv Fashion Week, running from November 8–12, 2026.
A fixture of the event since its early years, Upcoming Designers was created as a platform for young independent talent, giving designers at the beginning of their careers an opportunity to present their work on the Fashion Week runway alongside more established names.
This year’s selection brings together four distinctly different creative voices.
Ravid Haken, founder of HKN, has developed a highly tactile approach to knitwear, creating sculptural, often handcrafted pieces that push traditional knitting techniques into a more experimental fashion vocabulary.
Tal Yosifov, the designer behind HALT, approaches fashion with a bold, image-driven sensibility. Her work is characterized by statement silhouettes and an unapologetic use of materials, with the brand’s distinctive vinyl outerwear among its signatures.
Lilach Eliyahu, founder of TABU, brings extensive industry experience to her independent label. A Shenkar graduate who went on to study at the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, Eliyahu has worked with fashion companies and designers in Europe and Israel. TABU combines streetwear influences, upcycling and an eclectic approach to color, proportion and styling.
Completing the lineup is Inbal Heffer, a 2025 Shenkar Fashion Design graduate whose work explores identity, migration, memory and craft. Her graduate collection, Urban Fields, drew on her grandparents’ migration from Morocco to Israel, combining references to 1950s tailoring, workwear and traditional handcraft. The collection went on to win the Innovation award at the 2025 International Lab of Mittelmoda in Milan.
The showcase has previously provided an early Fashion Week platform for designers and labels including Hed Mayner, Rima Romano, Shahar Avnet, Aharon Genish and Holyland Civilians. Mayner has since become a regular presence on the Paris fashion calendar and was awarded the Karl Lagerfeld Prize at the 2019 LVMH Prize, while Avnet has built an international profile dressing figures including Beyoncé and Zendaya.
For Fashion Week founder and producer Motty Reif, the appeal of the showcase lies precisely in that sense of discovery.
“Fashion media and the industry are waiting to see the new voices and the next generation that will shape fashion,” Reif says, describing the selected designers as creators with individual perspectives and clearly defined visual identities.
He also sees the collaboration with ASUS as a natural extension of the project, bringing together fashion, design and technology around a shared emphasis on experimentation and new ideas.
Rather than simply filling another slot on the Fashion Week schedule, Upcoming Designers remains one of the event’s most closely watched opportunities to see what, and who, might come next.
