The new collection presents a homage to the glorious days of the 60s and 70s, with the mesmerizing psychedelic prints that have become the brand’s hallmark, and pastel colors that would make you daydream about spring.
Colorful prints in kaleidoscopic graphics are recognizable as the iconic prints of the super-brand Pucci, and now towards spring, they are back at the forefront of the fashionable stage – as a reminder that you don’t really have to go on holiday to feel free.
The new collection, which landed at Factory 54, presents a crazy homage to those glamorous days of the sixties and seventies, inspired by the stewardess’ mini dresses, psychedelic prints and combinations of pastel shades that immediately put a smile on your face. Apart from stylish leisure clothes in a young and bold spirit, this season you can also find a reference to the field of sports with items such as tights, tops and overalls designed in Pucci’s unique Italian chic. The design team has also given thought to vacations and travel, with a series of lightweight designs that can be comfortably packed, including dresses and tops in pleated silhouettes, miniskirts, leotards and swimwear made of durable lycra.
Last September, the LVMH group, which owns the Pucci fashion house, announced the appointment of Camille Miceli to the coveted artistic management slot. Miceli previously held design roles as the creative director of the accessories departments at the Dior and Louis Vuitton, where she oversaw the collections of handbags, shoes, jewelry and sunglasses.
