Israel Canada Tel Aviv Fashion Week 2025
This year, as part of Israel Canada Tel Aviv Fashion Week 2025, Shenkar’s Fashion Design Department presents an ambitious showcase, seventy original looks created and presented by seventy emerging designers. A collective vision born out of two years of deep reflection, resilience, and relentless creativity. A period that challenged these young designers personally, socially, and artistically like never before.
Created in the shadow of October 7th and in the months that followed, the collections capture a shared emotional landscape; grief, anxiety, and loss intertwined with an unyielding drive to keep creating. Out of that tension emerges a new kind of fashion: one that stares reality in the eye yet insists on imagination as an act of defiance. It redefines the language of a generation determined to imagine a better future.
Expect sharply tailored silhouettes, reinvented denim, unexpected bridal wear, emotionally charged menswear, and sportswear reinterpreted through fresh creative lenses. Each look tells its own story, but together they form a portrait of a generation transforming hardship into vision, fashion born from complexity, infused with courage and forward motion.
On the runway, seventy diverse participants, models, students, friends, performers, influencers, creators, artists, and fashion professionals will bring the garments to life. A vivid human mosaic, uniting voices across genders, ages, and backgrounds, echoing the collective pulse of fashion’s next generation.
The show unfolds in three acts: a narrative journey from disintegration to awakening, and finally, to an explosive rebirth of life and creation.
Act I: Disintegration
A charged, dramatic world of dark emotion and heavy materials.
Black, brown, and gray tones merge with deconstructed silhouettes, layered, frayed, or precisely tailored, evoking fragility and strength in equal measure.
It is a reflection on instability, where collapse and creation coexist.
Act II: Awakening
After the breakdown comes a breath of light.
Soft whites, blush pinks, and nude tones invite a sense of healing and renewal.
Transparency, fluid fabrics, and introspective questions about the body, home, and identity define this serene space, a quiet celebration of beauty and hope.
Act III: Eruption
Energy surges back to life.
Vibrant streetwear and electrifying colors reclaim the rhythm, music, motion, and defiance, fuse in an ecstatic return to human connection and creative vitality.
It’s not just a finale; it’s a declaration: fashion lives, breathes, and rises again.
